Le potentiel du secteur des jeux de hasard africain sera étudié et mis à l’honneur au sommet WrB Africa (http://Africa.WrBriefing.com), organisé le 11 et 12 avril au Sheraton Lagos Hotel au Nigeria.
Dans le cadre des WrB series organisées par Clarion Events, WrB Africa est le premier sommet visant à explorer les opportunités et à encourager la création d’un cadre règlementaire, dans l’optique de créer une industrie des jeux de hasard prospère et durable en Afrique subsaharienne.
« Nous avons lancé WrB Africa pour ceux qui souhaitent exploiter l’énorme potentiel de cette région, mais qui se méfient des complexités de l’environnement règlementaire. Peut-être ont-ils déjà des activités dans une région africaine en rapide croissance et veulent-ils passer à l’étape suivante, » déclare Curtis Roach, producteur principal de conférences pour l’évènement.
Les délégués auront un programme très chargé. En outre, ils pourront faire du réseautage et des affaires avec plus de 30 sociétés majeures sur le marché, et ils auront l’opportunité d’apprendre directement auprès des principales entreprises basées en Afrique de l’Est, de l’Ouest et centrale, et des principaux organismes règlementaires du continent.
Lanre Gbajabiamila, président directeur du Lagos State Lottery Board (LSLB), sera parmi les intervenants et dirigera une session inaugurale.
Les intervenants incluent John Kamara, directeur de Global Gaming Africa, Tarimba Abbas, directeur général du Tanzania Gaming Board, Edward Lalumbe, directeur de l’exploitation du Gauteng Gambling Board et Matthias Jacek Wojdyla, directeur des affaires internationales de la FIFA.
Gbajabiamila est optimiste quant à la croissance continue des jeux de hasard à Lagos et au Nigeria tout entier, grâce notamment aux développements technologiques et à la passion du public pour le sport.
« L’industrie des jeux de hasard nigériane évolue et est en pleine croissance. De plus en plus d’états et d’individus prennent conscience des opportunités qui existent dans cette industrie en matière de divertissement, de profits et d’emploi. Nous sommes très heureux de nous associer avec WrB Africa, il s’agit d’un évènement formidable très attendu par le marché, et je suis impatient de voir les opportunités qui en découleront pour l’industrie des jeux de hasard subsaharienne. »

Africa’s gaming potential will be explored and celebrated at WrB Africa (http://Africa.WrBriefing.com), taking place on 11-12 April at The Sheraton Lagos Hotel, Nigeria.
As part of the WrB Series run by Clarion Events, WrB Africa is the first ever summit dedicated to exploring the exciting opportunities and encouraging a regulatory framework that will produce a thriving and sustainable gaming industry in Sub-Saharan Africa.
